We can even become physically ill before the class as the body begins to shift and shed illness and energy that it no longer needs so it can move to a higher healing frequency. \nPlease do your best to get to that first class anyway.  You will find that the illness is short-lived.  And the Reiki class and placement experience are well worth it! \nYou can do a few things to help the placement go “deeper” into your consciousness if you wish.  This is not necessary – but does facilitate a more powerful placement. \n\nTake some time before the class as technology-free time and do not listen to the news or read the newspaper.\nEat whole foods and eliminate caffeine and alcohol.\nIf you want to detox before the class\, Mrs. Takata (who brought Reiki to North America) has a juice blend – with one 2” beet\, 1 Tbsp watercress\, two stalks of celery\, one medium carrot\, and 2 cups purified or spring water.  If you have Reiki – you can send Reiki into this mixture before chopping it at high speed in a blender.  If not\, send love and kind thoughts into the mixture.\nThis blend is reported to purify the blood and detoxify the liver\, gallbladder\, and lungs – but caution should be used with it as it is a powerful detoxifier.  Drink small amounts and wait for an hour or more to see how your body responds.  I drink about 1/3 of the mixture per day.\n\nI look forward to sharing the gift of Reiki with you! \nNamaste \nWhat do our students say about our Reiki classes? \n“Reiki classes with Pam are simply magical. It is the first step in learning Reiki and is all about self treatment and healing though level 1 practitioners can also work on family and friends. The energy becomes much more powerful and you gain the ability to send Reiki from a distance\, to practice Reiki professionally on others if you wish\, to create a Reiki grid and you learn Japanese Reiki techniques.  This class is particularly helpful for emotional healing\, so it is wonderful for empaths and anyone else who wants to take Reiki further. \nThe cost of the two day class is $430 US and includes William Lee Rand’s detailed level 1&2 manual. Continuing Education Contact Hours available for Nurses\, Massage Therapists\, Social Workers and Marriage & Family Counselors (additional fee). \nA bit more about the class: \nFruit\, herbal teas and fresh water will be available throughout the day.  As energies shift\, we tend to be really hungry – and thirsty! \nIn the original Reiki ideals\, Dr. Usui says that Reiki is “The secret art of inviting happiness” and “The miraculous medicine of all diseases”.  It is known as a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s.  Reiki combines Rei or Spiritual Wisdom with Ki or Life Energy – with some amazing results.  Reiki can never cause harm.  It never depletes your energy.  Anyone can learn it.  And once you have been attuned\, whether you choose to use it or not\, it will be with you for the rest of your life. \nReiki is not taught in the way other healing techniques  are taught.  The ability is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during a placement process.  During the placement\, the Rei or God Consciousness makes adjustments in the student’s chakras and energy pathways and links the student to the Reiki source.  A placement is very powerful energetically\, your energy will start to shift and move toward this higher frequency.  Sometimes\, when this happens\, the shift can be uncomfortable and we can even become physically ill prior to the class as the body begins to shift and shed illness and energy that it no longer needs so it can move to the higher\, healing frequency.  Please do your best to get to that first class anyway.  You will find that the illness is short lived.  And the Reiki class and placement experience are well worth it! \nYou can do a few things to help the placement go “deeper” into your consciousness if you wish.  This is not necessary – but does facilitate a more powerful placement if you choose to observe the guidelines. \n\nTake 2-3 days prior to the class as a technology free time.  Refrain from computer and TV use and do not listen to the news or read the newspaper.\nEat whole foods and eliminate caffeine and alcohol.\nIf you really want to detox prior to the weekend\, Mrs. Takata (who brought Reiki to North America) has a juice blend uses – with one 2” beet\, 1 Tbsp watercress\, 2 stalks of celery\, 1 med. It is the first step in learning Reiki and is all about self treatment and healing though level 1 practitioners can also work on family and friends. Once you have received Reiki\, the ability to use it never goes away.\n\n\nReiki level 2 (Okuden) brings things to a whole new level by introducing symbols. The energy becomes much more powerful and you gain the ability to send Reiki from a distance\, to practice Reiki professionally on others if you wish\, to create a Reiki grid and you learn Japanese Reiki techniques.  This class is particularly helpful for emotional healing\, so it is wonderful for empaths and anyone else who wants to take Reiki further.\n\n\n\nThe cost of the two day class is $410 US and includes William Lee Rand’s detailed level 1&2 manual. Continuing Education Contact Hours available for Nurses\, Massage Therapists\, Social Workers and Marriage & Family Counselors (additional fee). \nA bit more about the class: \nFruit\, herbal teas and fresh water will be available throughout the day.  As energies shift\, we tend to be really hungry – and thirsty! \nIn the original Reiki ideals\, Dr. Usui says that Reiki is “The secret art of inviting happiness” and “The miraculous medicine of all diseases”.  It is known as a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s.  Reiki combines Rei or Spiritual Wisdom with Ki or Life Energy – with some amazing results.  Reiki can never cause harm.  It never depletes your energy.  Anyone can learn it.  And once you have been attuned\, whether you choose to use it or not\, it will be with you for the rest of your life. \nReiki is not taught in the way other healing techniques  are taught.  The ability is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during a placement process.  During the placement\, the Rei or God Consciousness makes adjustments in the student’s chakras and energy pathways and links the student to the Reiki source.  A placement is very powerful energetically\, your energy will start to shift and move toward this higher frequency.  Sometimes\, when this happens\, the shift can be uncomfortable and we can even become physically ill prior to the class as the body begins to shift and shed illness and energy that it no longer needs so it can move to the higher\, healing frequency.  Please do your best to get to that first class anyway.  You will find that the illness is short lived.  And the Reiki class and placement experience are well worth it! \nYou can do a few things to help the placement go “deeper” into your consciousness if you wish.  This is not necessary – but does facilitate a more powerful placement if you choose to observe the guidelines. \n\nTake 2-3 days prior to the class as a technology free time.  Refrain from computer and TV use and do not listen to the news or read the newspaper.\nEat whole foods and eliminate caffeine and alcohol.\nIf you really want to detox prior to the weekend\, Mrs. Takata (who brought Reiki to North America) has a juice blend uses – with one 2” beet\, 1 Tbsp watercress\, 2 stalks of celery\, 1 med. Nothing has been taken away from the traditional Usui Reiki Master teaching\, but Holy Fire® was added to it. \nIn the winter of 2016\, the vibration of the Holy Fire® Energy rose again\, and was dubbed Holy Fire® II Reiki.  We began doing placements instead of attunements.  The Healing in the River of Life experience was born. And the Holy Fire® Healing Experience was brought in as well. \nSeptember 21\, 2018\, while William Rand was teaching on Mount Kurama in Japan\, the Holy Fire® energy went higher again.  It began to reveal the authentic self of the people working with it\, releasing the dormant and culturally created selves.  It healed the ego and brought us in touch with our life purpose or mission. DESCRIPTION:”If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other…If you do not talk to them you will not know them\, and what you do not know you will fear.\nWhat one fears one destroys.”\nChief Dan George (1899 – 1981)\n9 am – 6:30 pm\n\nPlease bring lunch\, a notebook\, a water bottle and a pair of slippers.  The class will be held entirely indoors and we will not be physically interacting with animals. \n| $200 \n\n\n\nIt is possible to communicate with animals – and because I had to work so hard to learn this skill\, I’ve become quite adept at helping others learn the art of animal communication. \nIn our deeper\, Tao of Equus Emotional Healing clinic\, we discovered that most people could hear the horses at the end of the first day. Then we were asked to create this course for the people who simply wish to hear the animals without doing the deeper horse work – and it has proven to be a resounding success with most of the participants being able to communicate with and “hear” their animal friends upon completion of this fun\, magical workshop. \nThe key to animal communication is becoming still\, learning to enter the heart space and then gaining confidence with what you hear. And there are some rules and ethics around it too that are really important.  Scientists including Dr. Jane Goodall recognize that not only are animals communicating with us – but they understand everything we say\, think and feel.  In her remarkable movie\, “When Animals Talk”\, Jane and a fellow scientist follow the science which proves Animal Communication is real. \nAnimal communication has occurred for millenia across cultures but we lost this skill in recent generations. William Lee Rand experimented with and taught Karuna Reiki® for over 12 years and found it very effective and powerful. Most students find it significantly more powerful than Usui Reiki. It does not replace Usui Reiki\, it compliments it! The energy has a more definite feeling to it and heals more quickly and on a deeper level. It works on the emotional and spiritual levels and also can help one become more grounded. Continuing Education Contact Hours available for Nurses\, Massage Therapists\, Social Workers and Marriage & Family Counselors (additional fee). \nA bit more about the class: \nFruit\, herbal teas and fresh water will be available throughout the day.  As energies shift\, we tend to be really hungry – and thirsty! \nIn the original Reiki ideals\, Dr. Usui says that Reiki is “The secret art of inviting happiness” and “The miraculous medicine of all diseases”.  It is known as a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s.  Reiki combines Rei or Spiritual Wisdom with Ki or Life Energy – with some amazing results.  Reiki can never cause harm.  It never depletes your energy.  Anyone can learn it.  And once you have been attuned\, whether you choose to use it or not\, it will be with you for the rest of your life. \nReiki is not taught in the way other healing techniques  are taught.  The ability is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during a placement process.  During the placement\, the Rei or God Consciousness makes adjustments in the student’s chakras and energy pathways and links the student to the Reiki source.  A placement is very powerful energetically\, and from the moment you sign up for this class\, your energy will start to shift and move toward this higher frequency.  Sometimes\, when this happens\, the shift can be uncomfortable and we can even become physically ill prior to the class as the body begins to shift and shed illness and energy that it no longer needs so it can move to the higher\, healing frequency.  Please do your best to get to that first class anyway.  You will find that the illness is short lived.  And the Reiki class and placement experience are well worth it! \nYou can do a few things to help the placement go “deeper” into your consciousness if you wish.  This is not necessary – but does facilitate a more powerful placement if you choose to observe the guidelines. \n\nTake 2-3 days prior to the class as a technology free time.  Refrain from computer and TV use and do not listen to the news or read the newspaper.\nEat whole foods and eliminate caffeine and alcohol.\nIf you really want to detox prior to the weekend\, Mrs. Takata (who brought Reiki to North America) has a juice blend she mixes up and drinks – with one 2” beet\, 1 Tbsp watercress\, 2 stalks of celery\, 1 med. Carrot and 2 cups purified or spring water.  If you have Reiki already – you can send Reiki into this mixture prior to chopping it at high speed in a blender.  If not\, send love and kind thoughts into the mixture.  This blend is supposed to purify the blood and detoxify the liver\, gallbladder and lungs – but caution should be used with it as it is a powerful detoxifier.  Drink a small amounts and wait for an hour or more to see how your body responds.  I drink this mixture occasionally – and it is powerful.  I can generally only drink about 1/3 of the mixture per day.\n\nI look forward to sharing the gift of Reiki with you! \nNamaste \nWhat do our students say about our Reiki classes?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Reiki classes with Pam are simply magical.
